Abstract：Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) is one of the important ways in assisted reproductive technology,but it also has its adverse effects,with the possibility of impairing the oocyte quality.The oocytes expose to a totally different environment in COH,which may increase the oocyte chromosomal aberrations.The use of a large dose of gonadotropin may damage oocytes development control and synchronization,nuclear and cytoplasmic maturity in different stages,reducing the oocyte maturation rate and quality.Complete down-regulation can improve the synchronization of follicular development and prevent the harmful high endogenous LH levels,thus improve oocyte quality and pregnancy outcomes.
